Has anyone tried the 17-70? I keep finding the 16-45 pulling up a
little short at the long end and I don't think the 16-50 would be
quite long enough either (apart from being a bit on the heavy side).
Tried it, left it at the store.
It's sharp enough and contrasty enough, but it has way too much barrel
distortion for me. It would be OK as long as you never have anything in the
picture that needs to be a straight line, or you have a god defish program.
