Out from lurking for a bit... My wife and I spent last Sunday poking around Bundeena. Turns out her great-great-great grandfather was the first to settle there. His cottage - Simpson's Cottage - is there and has been restored, but is now rented out at weekends (and occupied), so we couldn't get in.
We eventually got the ferry across to Cronulla for lunch, and encountered these guys on the trip back - http://picasaweb.google.com/petergly/BundeenaDayOut#5308815812096471298 Having slip-streamed the odd truck on my pushie over the years, I could appreciate how this guy felt. RAW pic, cleaned up a little in Picasa - (slight contrast adjustment, a little saturation, sharpening). The more I use Picasa, the more I like it as a quick (and not-as-dirty-as-it-used-to-be) post-processing tool. All it needs is the ability to resize, and save as tiff, and I'd be stoked.
