There is always controversy about using flash on wildlife. I notice
that birds give me really dirty looks when I nail them with my
flash-xtender (which gives me a great follow up shot! ;) ). But really,
all the "scientific" studies have shown no effect on wildlife health or
behavior. That being said, just out of respect, I wouldn't blast an owl
with a strobe at night when it's hunting. Of course, I've always wanted
to try multi-flash on bats... ok, I'm evil.
What you really need is a FA* 600/4 :-)
