Umm, those are the two oldest models in the class (the Nikon D90 and Canon 50D being the other two and 6+ months newer than either the Pentax or Sony) apart from the Canon 40D which has been replaced for all intents and purposes despite remaining available. Of course they did oops on Live View (only the Sony lacks it). The E-30's the newest model in the class, with a brand spanking new sensor (shared with the Panny G1) and while rather overpriced it does compare well to the A700 and K20D in performance. -- M.
