Okay, so I can't just leave the 6x7 on the shelf. I've been shopping for
a lens for, oh, 24 hours now, and my patience is wearing thin. I gave up
on a 90/2,8 when I couldn't meet the reserve at $250. I passed on a
105/2.4 with a scratch on the front element and a $160 minimum bid. And
then I started thinking that I might want my first lens for this beast
to be more of a portrait lens than a normal lens. A 150/2.8 showed up on
ebay, but the "buy it now" was $399. The reserve is probably close to
that. Finally, I turned to KEH. I love the idea of the 165 leaf shutter
lens, but prices are in the six to seven hundred dollar range. But they
have an "excellent" 150/2.8 for $284. That sounds like a rather good
deal. What say you, oh list members?
