A terabyte is a whole lot of jpegs, those who never change cards or print a picture will be able to store several lifetimes of photography from their p&s digital camera and never worry about running out of space...
Except that it also means I'll have some teen-age female at the photolab kiosk, wanting to print every image on the card; and then expecting to go through the entire batch of 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 prints thinking I'm going to "buy back" all the bad ones because she set the camera to get the maximum number of images (== lowest quality + lowest resolution) on the card and all 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 have artifacts out the wazoo.
It should be a felony punishable by death to allow a teen-age female to possess a digital camera.
