G'day all These Lombardy Poplars along a drainage channel caught my eye a year or so ago. They had not yet come into new leaf and the trunks and branches took on a silver/gold appearance in the late afternoon light.
Image processing disclosure - cropped top and bottom, mainly because of a dark shadow in the foreground. Some cloning along the bottom edge, due to the same shadow. Slight boost to contrast. http://www.blognow.com.au/PESO/114205/Poplars.html I thought the trees might look good in black and white. This is mainly the red channel. http://www.blognow.com.au/PESO/114207/Poplars_in_Black_and_White.html Comments and suggestions most welcome.
