Went through my Picture-A-Week list for 2008. That reduced the candidates to 52 (actually somewhat less - there are a few shots there that only got used because I wanted something for that week). I decided I wanted shots that depicted 2008 events, not locations, so that reduced the numbers considerably. Finally I picked a couple of shots that I liked. I've been doing a Picture-A-Week for over two years now, and while I'm not quite as good at getting out with the camera every week it has increased the frequency significantly, and motivated me again. A photo blog would be even better, but I'm not that disciplined. This year I'm probably going to put together a Blurb book based on those images as a gift for my mother - while she does appear to like the electronic picture frame I gave her a couple of years ago I'm sure she'd prefer something a little more tangible. So I'm starting the process of going back to the full-resolution original shots and creating a Lightroom collection (which I didn't do when I started the PAW gallery). That will be the basis for the book, and will probably give me some better online shots as well.
