The beauty of Esperance though is there is so little light pollution you could almost use it for that. I set the camera to ISO 6400 to give as short an exposure time as possible. I guesstimated the exposure time at 15 seconds for my first frame & I was bang on (FIG JAM :-). I also shot some 20-30 min. star trails exposures & for those I dialled the ISO down to 200. > And finally, is that your flash off to the left lighting the underside of > the structure? Not my flash, but a friends LED torch. She was using it to help focus, I liked the shadows, and quickly took this shot.
