Hi Ann,

It's good to hear from you (I am sure that everyone else feels the same :-)

Your hospitality was well received, Ger and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in
NYC and the highlights were definitely meeting with fellow PDMLers like
yourself. Shel actually has my films from the US at this stage so I haven't
seen them yet (can you remember which part of the roll you shot? I can't, I'll
have to cite us both as authors if I publish any :-)

You left just after Sept 11th I believe? At that stage we were in a fairly
remote area in the French Alps about 20 minutes from Annecy conquering
mountains etc. We had no TV in our accommodation and there was no English radio
to listen to (I embarrassingly have no second language skills) so we were in a
communications vacuum and only leant about the tragedy two days after it
happened when we returned to Annecy. What a shock, we were up on the towers not
six weeks earlier and our NYC hotel was situated in the WTC exclusion zone, too
close for comfort, we though about you and all the other NYers quite a bit to
say the least.

I hope that you left your amazing collection of art up on those walls, do you
still have a dedicated, study?

We are both well and got back into the routine far too quickly. Merry Christmas
to you too, it looks like it's shaping up to be a hot one here.
