By cropping out both the weeds and brush, it seems to sort of  'suffocate' 
the image. By cloning out the grass at the bottom, the additional  water in the 
foreground allows it to breath. Yeah, I know, but symbolism, if not  too 
distracting, helps me make my point. :(
It's a worthy  image.

Actually agree with Jack's comment, more  water is better (for layers). But I 
also know you don't clone. So crop  okay.
