Yep. There were 3 or 4 lads back-somersaulting for quite a long time. I was surprised none of them was hurt. Quite a few people were photographing but nobody else had the sense to go down onto the beach. After my first frame I realised they be lost against the clutter, so I went down onto the beach to shoot them against the sky. I was rather lucky really because I'd brought the wrong lens. Instead of my normal 14-54mm lens the camera had the 11-22 on when I left the house. Fortunately 11mm was exactly right for both these shots. You'd think so wouldn't you? But sometimes it all gets a bit too much to choose from and I end up going to none. The Annie Leibowitz exhibition A Photographers Life has just started and I'm looking forward to that. But there are about 3 Magnum shows at the moment, plus the Brighton Biennial, the Capa and Taro, plus several others I'd love to see, but there just ain't enough time. Incidentally, Paolo Pellegrin's photos of 'Restaveks' - Haitian child slaves sent to 'stay' with other families ('rester avec' in French) are stunning. The prints are incredible. > > Timely catch with your shot, Bob. I wonder what this would > look like in B&W.
