We have them serviced by Asahi Photo before sale, this service can include the fitting of new bright screens if you wish. MXs were discontinued some time ago, unlike LX, so parts etc for those will be less common. My advice is to buy the best one you can, hopefully from someone with the appropriate level of expertise.
