My owners manual says it uses DENSO maps, whatever that means.
I just Googled DENSO and it's likely my car uses DENSO's own unit. They make the
whole thing, and get their maps from Tele Atlas.
Okay, now *I* know, it's not a Garmin, but thought it would be of some interest
to others online.
