OT: Mac problem resolution

As fate would have it, my aging Mac G4 dual 1.25 had a bad  
motherboard. The fix was over $500, so I opted out. I purchased a 3.06  
Ghz 24-inch i-Mac as a replacement. I also bought the Adobe CS-4  
Design Suite. I'm thinking this was all a good move. I really need  
InDesign, and the newest versions wouldn't even run on my G4. I'll  
probably add Lightroom at some time, but that's not a necessity. I'm  
pretty much hooked on ACR, and I suspect the CS4 version will be quite  
nice. The downside is that CS4 won't ship for a couple of weeks. I  
don't know if CS1 will run on an Intel machine, but I'll give it a try.
