I am sure it will be a quick repair (IF I can do it myself - I am pretty sure my local authorised Pentax repair would overcharge me - I have had bad dealings with them in the past. Hopefully I can get the part elsewhere). I was just hoping that a more reliable body part could be inserted there instead of the plastic one. This one failed me during a paid assigment where I fortunately used a spotmeter as my exposure meter (not metering TTL at all) so no ruined pictures, fortunately.
