I paid about US$750-odd for the Sigma 70-200 2.8 at B and H in NYC. Well, 
my friend Margot did, before she visited us :-)  Cheapest I've seen here 
in UK is about �599, although �699 is more usual. I wish I could afford 
the Pentax, sure. The Sigma's pretty dern good though.
