The big show this summer at Tate Modern is called Street & Studio, and is about the history of photographic portraits taken in cities around the world. It runs from May 22nd until August 31st.

The price is £10- for non-members. I am a member, so I should be able to get at least one guest in free (as soon as I've found my card). It's in conjunction with the Museum Folkwang in Essen, so Folkwang folks may not be interested. However, it would be fun to twin your town with the great Yorkshire metropolis of Wetwang.
