I just got a note that my K10D is back from warranty service (just slightly over 1 week, I'm happy to have the official Pentax warranty service in my city). I don't know yet if they fixed anything in the body. The DA* 16-50/2.8 was sent to Pentax Germany for adjustments. They told me it should take about two weeks. They also told me they don't need to send these lenses back to the factory in Japan any longer.
