Tonight I've begun the process of posting to my new gallery all my best work from the past eight years, starting with the first good photo I took upon switching majors from Geology to Art Studio back at UC Davis. It was fall of 2000, and I was just learning how to develop and print on my own.
http://www.neovenator.com/2008/04/get-this-party-started.html (the first line of the post has nothing to do with the photo) It was the only successful 35mm photo I took that quarter, and it was taken with either a Pentax IQZoom or Olympus point-and-shoot camera. The rest of my work for that class was done with an Olympus C3030 digital camera, back when 3 megapixels was as high-res as consumers could get. Used that camera until I doubled my resolution years later with the *istD. I lost the negative some years ago, so this is a scan of a print.
