the idea is good but basically, you've focused on the wrong thing. The cross and the clouds should be in focus; the lamp could get away with being out of focus. The main compositional weight is on the cross, but the lamp is the only thing in focus. You should be using the lamp to frame the cross, so you have to alter the composition a bit.
