Losslessly compressed DNG requires a very specific compression  
algorithm to meet the spec, and it is processor intensive. Adobe  
normally recommends manufacturers use the uncompressed format  
specification in cameras and such for best compatibility and to  
reduce in-camera hardware costs, improve write performance.
