Yes it is most probably the camera but I would not exclude the software.
The exact same problem could be either in the camera or the software you use.
But if you have twi pics with each display (1/1 and 1) I would be glad
to check what is indeed in the EXIF although you can do it too with
some software if you have the time/motivation to.
