IMO anything is possible including that this rumour isn't true. They migh have licensed that tech from Kodak but then supposedly they (Pentax) started working on that sensor for years now. Somehow I doubt it is Kodak tech or least not only that, it would have been easier then to ask Kodak to make the sensor rather than Pentax taking the trouble to design their own if the tech comes from Kodak anyway...
