It is because MBAs use esoteric methods to come to the conclusion that short term profits, (a 5 year time horizon usually), drive long term goals. This is an example of that kind of thinking. If you're an MBA, I'd like to say I'm sorry if you're offended, but I'm not. Since I cut an pasted the quote from someone else's web site, I don't really care that much. It will be changing some time soon anyway. Probably by another O'Roarke quote but I've got my eye on one by "Throup". This is after all a mailing list. How much care should one give it?
