There is this odd structure sitting out in the middle of nothing in Sunol
(tiny town beyond Pleasanton, for those familiar with the area).

I head out that way to shoot barns and things and have seen it several
times. Last Sunday I was in the area and took note of when it was open. For a
long
time I wasn't sure what it was.

Turns out it is part of the San Francisco Water Filtration System (although
Sunol is quite a distance from SF). No water visible, although there were
raised areas of dirt I could not see over. There was some water in the temple
itself, flowing and gushing over a tiled floor and man-made fall. Evidentially
it was built sometime in the 1900's and was restored 1997-2000.

Anyway, I went back yesterday and took bunches of shots, playing around. It
has a classical and sort of dream-like look.

I may show one or two more as PESOs, or go to a small GESO.
