Did you ever need to do any "lab color timing correction"
(whatever that means)?
... or I guess just "color correction" .. the need for which was caused
by a lens?
Your prayers have been answered (even if you didn't pray).

According to the text in the Product Description for this Opteka lens
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0007SVHP2/
"The unprecedented purity, color saturation and
repeatability of Opteka lenses virtually eliminate the need for lab
color timing corrections caused by other lenses."

What I am not sure about is whether just pure existence of this lens
in nature is sufficient or I need to purchase it to fix the problem
caused by all other lenses. What do you think?

On a just a bit more serious note, since "Opteka" brand is mentioned,
what is it? I've seen it before, probalby in e-bay auctions list,
but not closely and have never heard the story behind it.
