Did you ever need to do any "lab color timing correction" (whatever that means)? ... or I guess just "color correction" .. the need for which was caused by a lens? Your prayers have been answered (even if you didn't pray).
According to the text in the Product Description for this Opteka lens http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0007SVHP2/ "The unprecedented purity, color saturation and repeatability of Opteka lenses virtually eliminate the need for lab color timing corrections caused by other lenses." What I am not sure about is whether just pure existence of this lens in nature is sufficient or I need to purchase it to fix the problem caused by all other lenses. What do you think? On a just a bit more serious note, since "Opteka" brand is mentioned, what is it? I've seen it before, probalby in e-bay auctions list, but not closely and have never heard the story behind it.
