Boris, http://www.digital.pentax.co.jp/en/lens/roadmap.pdf (I believe, this is the roadmap being discussed, isn't it?) -- this roadmap proposes 18-250 to be available by late October 2007.
I am also interested in getting this lens, - especially for the trips where I have weight and volume limitations. .. and as a walk-around, kind of "universal" lens.
