I have the manual Tokina 300 2.8 and it is an excellent lens. Sharp, nice "bokeh," with smooth and fast manual focusing. And it works acceptably well with the Pentax 1.7 AF convertor as long as you prefocus somewhere in the ballpark of final focus range. One note: it DOES NOT work with the Pentax "L" series teleconvertors. BTW mine is not and will never be for sale (unless of course I find a Pentax 300 2.8 for a comparable price)! Robert
