Mike, did you read my post on the timing of the switch? The market was deprived of Tri-X sheet film IN ANY SIZE for THREE MONTHS. Those months were July, August and September. By September there was virtually none on any shelf anywhere. This meant that in the back-to-school season, when Tri-X sheet film sales are highest, I sold no Tri-X sheet film. Our first shipment of 50s did not arrive until mid-October. Why would Kodak so stupidly place this channel-clearing changeover at the point of HIGHEST sales during the year unless they were deliberately trying to skew their numbers downwards? Kodak are not morons. Kodak do extensive profiling of their markets and sales. Kodak know when Tri-X 4x5 sells.
