OUCH! I can commiserate just a bit. As some of you may know, I'm a digi-newbie, and I just got a new (to me) computer. I've been shooting in RAW, and rather than load those big files, I've left them in the card until I get around to buying a few CD's on which to load them. I was fiddling around with what might have been the best shot I've taken in a while, and I somehow deleted it. >From the card. So it's not in the trash. It's gone. There's some sort of programme on my computer that's supposed to help retrieving such files - of course it wasn't able to help me (yet, anyway). Okay, that's only one pic, nothing like you've gone through, but still, I can feel your pain. And, hopefully I've learned my lesson... My deepest condolences for your loss. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
