Steve, Glad to see you enjoying the K10D. Try working with RAW. Cotty posted a comparison some time ago. The difference is in the range of blacks & whites. I think it is the 14 bits used in raw vs the 8 bits in jpeg. It allows you to extract extra detail and make it visible in the final jpeg. Mighty handy... Regards, Bob S.
