The ideal tool is a DIP chip lifter.  It looks almost like a set of
tweezers, but the ends of the blades have the last .5 mm or so bent
inwards at a 90 degree angle, so there's something to catch under
the little lip at the top of the card.  I used to carry one of
these to make it easy getting microdrives out of the *ist-D, but
so far (even with the new thicker Transcend lables) I haven't had
to use it to get a SD card out of the K10D.
