A few years later (May 1979), when Pop Photography�declared that "the all-time low for flare now belongs to the Pentax 40mm f/2.8 lens."�I used to use Olympus Zuiko lenses, and I can attest from personal experience that Pentax lenses have much less flair and more contrast.
