Hi Simon It is possible to attach Konica AR mount lenses to Pentax K bodies but not very securely and not in any really useful way, except for close focusing work.
Apart from the insecure mount, the main problem is that the lens to film plane distance on Konica SLRs is different to that on Pentax bodies so it's not possible to get infinity focus. Despite that, I occasionally use a 55 mm Konica Hexanon macro lens attached to the *istDS via a K mount extension tube with good results. By some design quirk, the Hexanon lens will attach to the extension tube securely but it won't attach directly to the Pentax body securely. The bottom line - make sure you get lenses with a Pentax K/KA mount and also avoid any Ricoh K mount lenses with a "P' setting on the aperture ring - they can become permanently attached to the Pentax bodies.
