Interestingly enough I just installed Win2k Pro at home and true to MS
advertising it was far more stable than previous versions of Windows,
however it did crash once in the first 2 hours of use. Then explorer
starting crashing repeatedly a problem I finally resolved. Really the only
reason I keep a windows partition around is for my wife and kids, oh and
PhotoShop. If you haven't tried Linux I strongly recommend it. I currently
run Redhat 7.1 and it has not crashed once, GIMP makes a good (not great
yet) photo editor and the KDE desktop is great. Best of all the price is
right (free) leaving more money for me to spend on lenses. : )
