Hi Bob ...
That's a good question. I based my response on Mike meaning a
high-quality camera, not a P&S. However, like you, I think there's a
place for a digital camera in my home. I have an inexpensive one that
I use for e-bay listings, or when I want something quick for e-mail
and the like. For example, some time back a list member wanted to
know how the Takumar 20mm lens hood worked. A quick snap of the
digital camera and I was able to shoot an "image" that explained it
all. Likewise, while working on my old Mercedes, I was stumped at how
to remove a certain part. I sent my uncle a pic via e-mail and he was
able to provide a solution based on the picture.
