Hey folks. Something's wonky with my ZX-5n when I mount my Sigma lenses
on it. I got 3 Sigma lenses now, and all exhibit the same sort of
problem.
The 75-200 f/2.8~3.5 consistently reports the f/stop as 1/2 stop higher
numerically than on the ring, except at the 2.8, 16, 19, and 22
positions where it reports correctly. It winds up with 2 positions on
the ring where f/16 display in the finder. If I skew the ring every so
slightly towards a lower f/stop number it usually reports the correct
number in the display.
The 14mm f3.5 reports everything as a stop slower with there being 3
f/16 positions!
The 15mm f2.8 does the same as the 14mm.

My Pentax SMC 50mm f/1.4 AF lens always reports correctly.
My Tokina 35-70 f/3.5~4.8 also has no problems.

Yes, I did notice that the return to normal happens at around f/16 in
all cases.

In all cases with all lenses adjusting the aperture while leaving the
the shutter control on Auto causes the shutter display to change
accordingly, so the TTL meter is still working right.

I just started noticing this problem about 3 months ago (long before the
focusing screen change.) At first I thought my 75-200 had broke, or
that it was just me, but the same thing happens on my two new lenses.

Is this a body/lens incompatability problem? Or do I need to use my
one-time-only free service from my extended warranty? Camera's only
about 1.5 yrs old.
Thanks!

P.S. Putting the old screen back in has no effect... Same problems
still so it wasn't that (didn't think it was, but had to check.)
