As I've mentioned before, the other list I'm on is CGP
(Crossword game pros which = Scrabble) - just after reading
the Emerson quote on PDML I read a post to that other list
where there is an interminable debate on which words should
have been included in the offical Scrabble lexicon and what
left out - you can imagine how picky that gets! Anyway -
one of the WOrld champs signed off his post on the subject
like this:
"G.I. Joelgernaut (aka Joel Sherman, Royal High Intimidator,
stumping
for (someone's) favorite cause, stability, in lieu of
confusion;
even tho I *do* believe that "a foolish consistency is the
hobgoblin
of little minds," in this case, the consistency would not be
