Asahi built the Tower cameras that Sears sold.  Not the lenses.
The lenses sold with these cameras I think had the Asahi name on
them.  Later Sears branded cameras were from Ricoh and maybe Chinon
(I seem to remember a couple of models from Sears that looked like
then current Chinon offerings).  It seems unlikely that any "Sears"
branded product was from Pentax.
