If you were using 'servo' then you're quite right you were using 'predictive
focus' focus but not 'trap focus' or what Pentax calls the 'snap-in-focus'
function. This is where you use a manual focus lens and set the camera to
'single AF'. You then hold down the shutter button and the shutter only
fires when the subject moves into focus.
