Because he doesn't have *any* kind of a problem -
the camera is functioning correctly.  I'd have
pointed that out when I saw the first message,
but somebody beat me to it.

By now, though, the (lack of) problem has been
pointed out, and acknowledged by the original poster.

Installing a known good battery would reproduce the
problem, so presumably your next recommendation
would be to send the camera off for repair?
