I chose Fortunecity because the space was free,
practically unlimited, and because they only had a
banner ad at the top. There were originally no pop-ups.
But that was a couple of years ago, and recently some
pop-ups have appeared. My wife uses something that
eliminates pop-ups (and pop-unders) but I don't know
what it is.
If anyone knows a viewer-friendly site with large
chunks of free web space I will certainly take a look
at moving my site there. I've got tons of new stuff and
I'd love to re-vamp the whole thing. I would probably
need no more than 20 or 30 megs.
