I've got (now) both a ME Super & a Program Plus.

The ME Super is in the closet collecting dust & hard-to-find accessories
that (someday) will become valuable(?). Mainly because I don't like having
to "fiddle" with the aperature & shutter.
And... I like the idea of a "cherry" camera all set to go with ALL the
"toys" one would want to go with it... & me as the original owner.

The Program Plus is so damn good (IMO) that it's kept me from finding a
good reason to drop $300-1,200 on another camera... even a Super Program.

I dunno that TTL flash or an x-tra 25th of a sec flash (1:125 vs 1:100) or
shutter priority makes the Super Program one whit better than the Program
Plus (or I'd have one already).

spotting the camera spoken of (ME Super?) on sale for & $30 would GUARANTEE
a sale.... even if for parts. Going back with a meter & lenses to "check it
out" would be silly (IMO). I'd be checking it out at home.

Push comes to shove, it could be resold on E-Bay for $150.

There's currently a black ME-Super on E-Bay (for $100) that may get bought
just so I can have one of each color. <g>

There's also a Program Plus there I may get for the same reason (esp given
how prone the black's are to ending up "all brass"). I just don't trust
it's having the aperature coupling mechanism replaced "due to wear".
(Sounds like BS). Plus it's missing the grip (harder to find than the
viewfinder cover).

Spend the $30 & take happy photos... is MY opinion.
(Now if I can just find a late, cherry, $20 ES-II). <g>
