Hmm are you a "professional" or an "amateur"? Just kidding.

First, do not let the negs go anywhere under someone else's control.

Second (well first really, but maybe next time) you want to work the pricing
out in advance.  Or clarify what the passes were to have bought.

Notwithstanding any assumptions that were made, you might consider charging
three times the cost of your supplies, plus your regular (day job) hourly
wage for the time you spend on all aspects of the gig.  That would
potentially be a reasonable fee, with perhaps subtracting the cost of the
passes as a gesture to their value.

This is all cold-hearted suggestion - you may adjust based on whether you
think this could lead to other paying assignments and whether or not there
is any other quid pro quo that you would like to receive in future.
Remember that if you quote a price that is not going to *at least* allow you
to break even, you probably don't want the "business".
