Hey all you B & W afficianodos: If you haven't tried the pyro developer (Hutching's PMK formula), it is a wonderful developer. I've made some architectual detail shots and the accutance or edge definition, or whatever you wish to call it, is quite remarkable. I've used some "fine grain" developers like Microdol and this seems to be even finer, from my first few rolls. I've also tried it souping HIE, with disastrous results, but I'm sure I'll find the right combination of EI, temp and development time eventually. Side note to Mike Johnston: I read what you wrote. Someone else told me D76 1:1. But, I guess, I too, have to learn the hard way; but if you wish to send me all of your results of the myriad trials you've already done, that would be OK Sid - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
