Greetings, Pentaxians!
I thought I'd return for a brief visit to your list since this seems to be
"Pentax week" for me. First of all, my friend Bob Meier got a case of Leica
fever and was hunting around for an M6, so I loaned him mine for a few weeks
to help him recover. In return, he sent me his LX to use for a similar
period of time--it's the first time I've ever spent an appreciable amount of
time with the LX and I'm learning a lot about it.
And then, when I was in the local camera store buying film for it, what
should I spy in the case but an MZ-S, newly arrived in the store only the
day before! I spent an enjoyable half hour talking about all things Pentax
with the knowledgable and Pentax-loving salesguy, while dry-firing the MZ-S
and exploring its features. I had some strong reactions to it.
Like I say, Pentax week here in Wisconsin!
