Maybe, but when I compare my LX, MX, KX, and Spotmatic F, I'd say the LX is the most quiet one, because it's so obviously the best made one: the sound is smooth and soft; the sound of a precision instrument. To me, this makes it much less intrusive than the others. -tih -- Don't ascribe to stupidity what can be adequately explained by ignorance.
