There are indeed mini SD cards. Not a lot uses them (yet)... I think
they're more intended for small devices, like mobile phones etc, where
evn an SD may be considered big (by some). I think they were
primarily developed by SanDisk,

I suppose it may be possible to get a SD/miniSD adapter along the
lines of the CF/SD one. Still, be an (unnecessarily) expensive route
at this point.
According to the link you posted, the mini comes with an adapter.
