For me it is also the MX (purchased new in 1982) as there is nothing wrong with it, for what it is, a manual camera. I hate qirks and design flaws (and somehow love them at the same time - I have some really weird cameras). With many cameras it is a single minor thing that spoils it for me. Certainly not in actual use but as this is about favourites...
The Spotmatic F leaves the meter on when I forget the lens cap - bad. The ME does not tell me when I have exposure correction set The LX (though a marvellous camera) has no AE lock (although the K2DMD that came earlier has it) The Super A is louder than the ME Super The P5/50 does not show the aperture (although the Super Program that came earlier does it) The MZ-5 does not tell me which one of the three AF sensors it has used The MZ-S is near perfect ... but has a plastic back.
